About ThirtyFax

I never thought I'd need to send a fax in the 20th century.
But there I was, dealing with some paperwork for my company, and the other side needed a fax. Not an email, not a PDF — a fax.
I looked around for a way to send it and every option wanted me to sign up for a monthly subscription. For one fax. That felt absurd.
So I built ThirtyFax instead.
It's a simple tool that lets you upload a document and send a fax online. No subscription, no fax machine, no hassle. Free for up to 5 pages, which covers most people's needs.
While building it, I fell down a rabbit hole learning how fax actually works. The protocols, why it still exists, why certain industries like healthcare and law never moved away from it.
It's a surprisingly interesting world for something that looks like it should be extinct. That curiosity is what drives the blog, where I write about faxing, document workflows, and the surprisingly stubborn role fax still plays in modern business.
I'm Bernard, and I build small web products under my company Bernard Builds. ThirtyFax is one of them.
